How do you get a boyfriend when you are 11?

I DEFINITELY think that 11 is WAY too young to date, but I still know that 11-year-olds insist they have boyfriends or girlfriends all the time.

(Hey, sorry, I usually wouldn't answer this question, but on WikiAnswers I feel people do deserve answers even if they are way too young to date.)

To get a boyfriend:

1. Be yourself! Just be yourself! Are you funny, shy, artistic, talkative, mean, happy, enthusiastic, etc? You should always be yourself, but if you don't enjoy one of your characteristics (i.e. your nails) then try to fix them. Just remember, if you lie about your whole life, he's not gonna enjoy knowing whether or not you're telling the truth.
2. Relate to your (hopefully) future boyfriend. You guys both interested in the same thing? Find out! Relate to each other. Similarities make ya closer.
3. Flirt. Haha, I know it's simple, but simple touching of the arm, smiles, and laughing can make people like ya a lot more. Flirt around chica.
4. Don't look dumpy. Brush your hair bird-nest-head!!! Don't go out of the way to try look like a 21-year-old, but at least look presentable. Clean your face, brush your hair and teeth, put on decent clothing that still speaks you, and off ya go.
5. Don't go too fast, but give him hints. I would give better advice to older people, but since you're eleven, no way. Don't insist on going behind the bleachers or anything, girl. Just smile and talk happily. Sooner or later, hopefully in a few years, you'll be old enough, and he'll be mature enough to ask you out.
