How do you get a dog not to run from you?
Train your dog or get it to like you

Often you can use treats as a reward for your dog coming to you. They will associate you with treats. You want to make a big deal out of it when your dog does come to you with a lot of praise. Never call your dog to scold it or reprimand it for doing something wrong. This is a fast way to teach them not to come to you.
