How do you get a job working as an amtrak engineer?
You have to have a minimum of a high school diploma. You have to sign up to attend a railroad school. Once you've graduated that, go online at the Amtrak website and 'sign up' in careers.

= Internal Combustion Engines = Four Stroke Engine: When you start the engine the flywheel turns the crankshaft and it sends the pistons up and down at the same time the i…ntake and exhaust valves are opening and closing because of the timing when the intake valve opens and takes the fuel in after that the spark comes from the spark plug that sends your piston down ( Because it ignites the fuel) at the same time the exhaust valve opens and sends the exhaust out , that's how the engine runs . Intake valve opens - the piston pulls the intake charge into the cylinder as piston moves downward. near the bottom of it travel the intake valve closesand the piston rises and compresses this charge and is ignited by a spark plug - exploding gas expands pushing piston downward. Near the bottom of it's travel the exhaust valve opens and the piston pushes exhaust out. This process continues causing piston to rotate crank shaft. (4 stroke; 1-intake, 2-compression, 3-power or fire, 4- exhaust) 2 complete revolutions of the crank is required for this to happen. the fuel is put into the sparker which lights and causes pressure to move up the piston which then turns drive shaft to turn wheels. '''Wankel Rotary Engine: Reaction Engines Please see related links. answ2. An engine is a machine for doing a particular task. A steam engine, a search engine, a calculating engine, a jet engine. Even such things as guns and ballista are considered 'Engines of war'. The above description does not cover diesel engines. Perhaps you could limit your inquiry to one particular type. Ans : an engine is a Mechanical device in which the process takes place .when we press self starter button then stater motors goes rotating at the rpm of350 rpm.the starter motors wheels are connected to crankshaft .when starter motors rotates crankshaft rotates piston also rotates due to timing of magneto both inlet and exhaust valves operates then engine get starts. FOUR STROKE COMPRESSION ENGINE As their name implies, operation of four stroke internal combustion engines have four basic steps that repeat with every two revolutions of the engine: . Intake . Combustible mixtures are emplaced in the combustion chamber . Compression . The mixtures are placed under pressure . Combustion (Power) . The mixture is burnt, almost invariably a deflagration , although a few systems involve detonation . The hot mixture is expanded, pressing on and moving parts of the engine and performing useful work. . Exhaust . The cooled combustion products are exhausted into the atmosphere 2 STROKE ENGINE WORKING This system manages to pack one power stroke into every two strokes of the piston (up-down). This is achieved by exhausting and re-charging the cylinder simultaneously. . The steps involved here are: Intake and exhaust occur at bottom dead center. Some form of pressure is needed, either crankcase compression or super-charging. Compression stroke: Fuel-air mix compressed and ignited. In case of Diesel: Air compressed, fuel injected and self ignited Power stroke: piston is pushed downwards by the hot exhaust gases. The piston goes up and down which makes the fuel explode and gives spark to the spark plug.
The railroads are making a comeback and they have a great pension.
Engineers attend a university or college to obtain a degree in Engineering or Applied Science. This usually takes 4 to 5 years. On graduation they apply for work with firms wo…rking at their specialty and are hired on as new (inexperienced) graduate engineers. Often engineers have put in work terms at firms prior to graduation to obtain experience with an employer or in their chosen branch of engineering.

AsI understand your questions, you are paid for completing an assigned task or job. And when it is completed, you are then given another task (or job) to complete and at the s…ame or different rate of pay, based on what you accpeted when you took on the task. If there is no NEXT job, then you have to go look for another job. Here are my thoughts on work at home jobs: http://jobstoworkfromhomenow.blogspot.com/
The exact nature of service engineer work depends on the specific industry in which the service engineer is employed. The service engineer will typically work in the field, an…d troubleshoot/repair technical issues with equipment as they arise.
Without being an engineer, I speculate his job tasks will be generating an idea, find people that will support his idea both financially, and commercially (publicity and find …workers), find companies that will provide affordable and well designed/reliable parts, do field testing of the item he created, and find ways to improve it. Also find artists that would design the object attractive to the eyes of the buyer (work on aesthetics). Some engineers also have a business degree to run their own companies, and control their own market pricing.
engine is working by using of three or four stroke . and its follow cycles.

The minimum requirements are job experience and references. You will need both to qualify for a job with Amtrak and both are a valuable asset to have.
Production engineering is a fascinating career. Production engineers, for example, design and build things that make other things. If you want a factory built, call a producti…on engineer. A good production engineer will design a manufacturing process that works not only technically, but considers too the interface between man and machine: the kit will work and the overall process will be manageable. Websites such as indeed, jobsite and Wikipedia are good sources of information about production engineering.
