In order to get the weapons in Resident Evil 4, mainly moving throughout the game provides with new weapons each time you come to a new place. Obviously you get the option to pick whatever weapons you want. After you beat the game at least one time, you will unlock Assignment Ada and the Mercenaries. By the way, this is based off of the Gamecube version. Go through Assignment Ada and complete it. You should receive the Chicago Typewriter. As for the Mercenaries, this one will take some time. First you must unlock all of the characters. Next, get a five star ranking with everyone. This means you need at least a score of 60,000 by the time your done. Each person can either handle the situation easily or it might take some time. Personally, I think the two easiest characters to do is Krauser and Wesker.
