You can get an annulment in Tennessee. However they are often times difficult to attain and are a rare occurence. Annulments may be had if the marriage was illegal (i.e., incestuous) or based on fraud or duress. You may also get an annulment if one party was underage. To apply for an annulment in California, you must file the petition on Form FL 100. You must serve a copy of this petition along with the summons to your spouse. Your spouse must respond within 30 days to your petition. If your spouse does not respond, you can seek a default judgment. If your spouse responds, then the court will schedule a hearing. In an annulment proceeding, you must prove the grounds on which you are seeking an annulment. In California you can seek an annulment if 1. your consent for the marriage was obtained by force or fraud 2. you were a minor at the time of the marriage 3. you and your spouse are close blood relative 4. your spouse was in a marriage with someone else at the time of your marriage 5. you or your spouse did not understand the consequences of your action because at the time of marriage you were of unsound mind 6. your spouse cannot consummate the marriage due to a physical disability and disability cannot be cured.
