well, first u need to trade a ditto from Pokemon leafgreen/ fire red(doesn't matter gender) then u take the Pokemon u want to breed but it has to have a gender and u put it in the day-care with the ditto and u wait for a while and when the old guy is standing outside the fence u talk to him and he gives u the egg of that Pokemon or it will be the pre-evolution form e.g if u put in blaziken it will give u torchic but if u put in absol it will give u absol.happy to help

You can also get a male and female of one Pokemon and put them in the daycare. I found that you can get an egg fastest by changing locations (i.e. Mauville city, Route 117, Route 118, etc..). I figured out that if you run (or bike) back and forth over the boarder of Mauville city and Route 117 after about a minute you will get an egg.
