How do you get redness out of blonde colored hair?

Try a "color depositing" hair product. These are usually shampoos or conditioners which gently correct the yellow tinge using a violet toner. These products are usually described as reducing "brassiness" and are usually purple to blue in hue. Some also use laundry bluing in dilution.

Depending on the dye you buy you could just cover up the red with blonde without doing anything, though you may get a strawberry blond colour. But the way to do it droperly is to bleach your hair then re-dye it to the vlonde of your choice.

To get the red out of your hair you will need to use a green base hair color. By using a color opposite of one another on a hair color wheel it tells you which color you need to use to neutral or cancel the current color out.

If you hair has been prelightened you can use a toner which are light pastel colors to tone prelightened hair. They are used to deposit color and they also neutralize unwanted colors in your hair. I would visit a local beauty supply or stylist and ask them to recommend a correct color that has a green base to remove the red.

Well, some colours are stronger than others. Colours in CAPITAL letters are stronger than ones in lower case.

BLOND red

BROWN blond

BLACK brown

Obviously, only red and red = red.

Each person has 2 colours, one shows (the stronger one) and the other doesn't (the weaker one).

Go to the beauty Supply and ask them for a toner to get the ash out.

Toners are used to neutralize or cancel out any unwanted tones.

For example a violet based toner will produce a light neutral blonde on prelightened yellow hair.
