You must check with your physician if you have any questions about cycsts on your body or any other aspects of personal health. You may be talking about sebaceous cycsts, several of which I have had. they can appear just about any place on your body where you have sebaceous glands. If this is what you are talking about, they can come about because of a blocked sebaceous gland-- the skin is covered with sebaceous glads that excrete fatty material called sebum. They can also be caused by blocked or infected hair follicles. They sometimes require surgical removal (as have a couple of mine) but some doctors prefer to treat them with other methods that help the sebaceous material to melt and be absorbed by the body.
