It works fast, so spray a little on take a clean warm wet cloth and wipe off. Do this until the wax has disappeared. DO NOT USE HEAT ON THE TILES! This means no paper towels over the wax with a warm iron. It may just crack the tile.
To remove a wax build up off vinyl flooring mix together 2 parts ammonia with 2 parts hot water and 1 part dish soap. Cover a small area with the mixture and scrub with a mop and continue until the floor is done. Next use plain warm water to rinse the floor and dry with old cloths.
If you plug in your hairdryer and dry it on the wax get a paper towel to wipe it off. Keep repeating that until the wax is off!
But if the floor material is porous, such as concrete or wood, your efforts may be in vain.
Use a blow dryer to warm the wax and then use a plastic spatula to scrape it off the floor. You may also need a soft rag to mop up the remaining wax.
You can take candle wax off of stone floors by using candle wax remover. Brands such as Un-Du and Weimans are available from the grocery store.

There is no reason to wax a tile floor.
If its tile. Use a heat gun. Or hair dryer. Warm it up and scrape it off. Then use a wax residue remover for the rest of the wax

Vinyl is the only "no wax" floor I am aware of and removing the wax should not damage the vinyl finish. You can get removal products at most flooring stores that are specifically designed for this purpose. I took the "no wax" wax off my "no wax" floor and it looked better than ever.
Tile has a glass finish & doesnt need wax, Wax can cause a slip & fall hazard when it gets wet Sealing tile is a misnomer, you really only need to seal the GROUT.. stop by the Depot & get some grout sealer, better for the grout
