Double click on your trash folder and look through all the items in your trash folder. If you find your item, right click on it and say restore. That will put it back whereever it was before you deleted it. If you don´t find it there, it means your trash folder has already been emptied and there is no way to get it back.
Some software programs has the ability to recover permanent deleted files like the "Tune-up Utilities" or the "CCCleaner". In the event that you don't have programs just like these, you can't recover permanent deleted files. If you have just deleted the files not permanently then you will just have to restore it from the Recycle Bin.
In order to avoid this kind of troubles in the future, you should install an online backup software that will save your data on a secure server over the internet. Generaly, this kind of software has a 'accidental deletion protection' function meaning that a deleted file on your computer is not automatically deleted on the server, and therefore is available for restore. I do work with a software called 77backup that has been useful in this king of case more than once
CCCleaner is not a recovery program....
Well, that's a broad question.
The short answer: Use a photo recovery software program.
The long answer: Right away, stop using the memory card. Any data that is written to the card after your pictures were accidentally deleted (or your card was accidentally formatted or corrupted) could possibly write over the photos you are trying to get back! So stop taking picture.
Next, you need to plug the memory card in question into a card reader so that it shows up as a drive on your computer. You can check this by going into "My Computer" on windows and seeing if it shows up. Don't worry if your pictures are not there when you explore the drive, they shouldn't be.
If you've gotten this far, it is time to choose the appropriate photo recovery software. In the research that I've done, I've found that it many of the programs offer the exact same features (only at different prices!), so it is most economical to try the least expensive programs first. The great thing about photo recovery software is that most of them let you try before you buy--- so start downloading some demos and see if they can get your pictures back. If they can, they will show a thumbnail of the images you lost, and only at that point will you be asked to pay any money.
I recommend to start by downloading Wondershare Photo Recovery because it is $30. If money is not an issue, try wGXe Photo Recovery-- I like this one best. I've put together a list of the top recovery softwares and how they compare (including price) here: http://www.photo-recovery-review.com/advice/top-5-best-digital-camera-photo-recovery-programs
