You actually, and truly NEED it. If it were me, I'd have a frank discussion with my physician about my stress levels, appetite levels, and sleep satisfaction/quality, if they seemed abnormal in some way, and I felt that I could benefit from an addictive anti-anxiety med that does not play nice with alcohol.
After checking my thyroid, my blood pressure, my weight, and maybe FSH if I were over 40, she'd decide whether to trust me with this drug. I doubt that for normal people, this would be longer than one month, without concurrent treatment of the underlying cause.
