Depends what kind of glue it is. Most glues can be removed with Goof Off. Some others,particularly any white or yellow glues can be removed in the washer.

If that glue is the remains of a double stick tape, try WD-40. Spray the area directly, let it soak then spray some on a clean cloth and gently rub the area.
