How do you get into a law school?

Answer:
In the United States, there are several requirements to get into law school.

Foremost, you must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized college or university. There is no required undergraduate course of study. For instance, you may get into a law school if you have an undergraduate degree in math, business, English or any other type of recognized 4-year degree.

Most colleges and universities that offer 4-year degrees have some type of pre-law counseling available. To find out more about this counseling, visit the Career Services Department at your college or university and let them know that you plan to go to law school.

There are several other requirements for getting into a law school, including testing (LSAT) and applying to the law schools you're interested in.

To get more details on how you can get into law school, start with the Career Services Department at the college or university you are attending. If you are still in High School, contact your counselor and let them know that your education goal is law school and he or she can guide you as well. Another option is to contact the Admissions Department of the law school(s) you are interested in and ask for guidance.
