How do you get mites?

If you are asking the question about carpet-mites: do not worry overmuch about this, we have lived with them for decades with no real problems. Just keep the carpets clean with the usual vacuum cleaner, and relax, regardless of how some vacuum cleaner companies tend to go on and on about their special, powerful new vacuum cleaner that gets rid of all those mites. If your carpet has a huge collection of mites and fleas, that's different. If your home has many mites and fleas causing ill-health, probably, you have kept an animal inside for some long time, and need to clean the home doubly hard daily, if you really like your animals to stay inside. I had no problems keeping cats in my home, because I organised ways for them to go outside when they liked, and to come inside when they liked. Its' better to organise an alcove for them to live in, instead of allowing them to roam around your home, give them a nice cosy place to sleep, good foods etc.
