How do you get over a man you have a child with?

• Any man that has a child with his girlfriend or wife and then deserts both of them is not a man. He should make an effort to pay child support and most importantly try to be part of his own child's life even if the two don't back together again. What you are going through is a grieving process; much like the grieving over the loss of a loved one to death. In a way it is a death because that person you loved has gone from your life and you had some wonderful memories with him and a child between the two of you. Unfortunately, some men who are single or married have the freedom to just ride off into the sunset leaving the woman with the strain of raising one of more of their children. They are not true men by nature and cannot either commit to responsibility or are just plain selfish and want their freedom. This leaves the woman with the child wondering what she did wrong and if she could have saved the relationship, but, she did nothing wrong! Then she will cry and feel very alone and eventually, through this grieving process she will get down right angry and that's when she can move on from this useless piece of hide calling himself a man and support her child and eventually meet that special man that will treat her with the respect that she deserves. Go through the grieving process, but try to get out once in awhile with friends and date off and on. You obviously know you will have a responsibility to look after a baby, but there is no guilt in going out once in every so often. Take it slow and one day that special man will come into your life.
