Some say, "Hit it with a Bible!" However, ganglion cysts come for no reason, and they go for no reason! If it doesn't go of its own accord within a few days, see your doctor! My sons experience with the ganglion cyst...He had a small grouping of cysts on the outside of his pointer finger knuckle.We did much research, and happened upon a product called "Red Dessert Clay" He took one teaspoon twice a day, and voila! Ganglion cyst are "clear jelly" filled sacks which are cause by the over use of your joints. The excessive rubbing around the joints cause excess excretion of lubrication fluids and the formation of the cyst wall to seal off the fluids from the rest of your body. Therefore, for first occurances you can have the cyst aspirated, but recurrenace rate is 50/50 since the cyst wall is there. If the cyst comes back, then you may want to consider excising the whole ganglion along with the cyst wall.
