∙ 12y agoYou can try bait in a hand spreader. The best way to get rid of ants is by using something the ants you see will take back to kill off the rest. If you can easily spot the colonies such as fire ants, pavement or you have little/no yard you can get a readily available insecticide and use the drench method or ring them all on a non windy day with a good strong dust so they walk through it. . There is also the hose end sprayer method if you want to spray everything, but be careful-the shock could drive some inside. For this method, get a concentrate (safe for foliage) fill hose end sprayer, set on 1 oz per gallon (get adjustable type) and go to town. Reapply as needed. To save space, contact me for more.
