keratosis pilaris is a genetically transmitted skin condition.unfortunately there is no full cure, however there are many treatments out there that dramatically reduces the symptoms and appearances of this condition.

here is a list oh things that you can use which will help:

Microdermabrasion Body PolishUltra Hydrating Bath BarRepairing Body Balm

here's also a link of treatment that thoroughly explains keratosis pilaris:

http://www.skintreatmentcream.com/

hope this helps

Baby rash creams also help sooth the bumpiness on the skin and help soothe the redness if there is any. I still deal with chicken skin to this day and I haven't found a product that works amazingly well. The baby rash cream helps but it won't be enough to actually get rid of this condition.

What causes keratoderma?

Hello, I see you are asking "What are the causes for keratosis pilaris (kp)?" Keratosis pilaris develops when keratin forms a scaly plug that blocks the opening of the hair follicle. Usually plugs form in many hair follicles, causing patches of rough, bumpy skin. Keratosis pilaris is caused by the buildup of keratin — a hard protein that protects skin from harmful substances and infection.
