Rubbing alcohol works very well on mealy bugs. Just use some alcohol soaked, ear-swabs and rub all of the white gunk off. Or, if you have a spray-bottle, just douse the mealy bugs with it. Be careful not to hit any flowers, as this may singe their petals.
Hope this helped!!!! :)
Reconfiguring heat, light, moisture or nutrient levels, removing by glove-encased hands, repairing such entry points as screen holes and wall cracks, and using approved household insecticides are ways to get rid of bugs on indoor plants. Bugs feast upon houseplants because the household offers food and shelter. It therefore is important to identify and repair access points, monitor soil conditions for stress (drought, excess/insufficient heat or light, infertility, pathogens, water-logging), and spray with home-made or store-bought insecticidal soap or home-sanctioned insecticides whose label mentions the household pest in question as one of its targets.
Feeding on sap and vectoring viruses are what mealybugs do to plants. The two actions can render the food host plant unattractive and unhealthy.
Blow them off with a jet of water from hose or hand sprayer?
Try to swat at them and if it gets really bad then get a professional.
Hope that helps!
