∙ 12y agoDry air and sunshine are mold's natural enemies. If you can move the wood outside in direct sunlight that would kill the mold. If you can't move it to direct sunlight, try mixing a little vineagar and water. For severe mold a little bleach and water. If the piece is finished you will probably have to strip and refinish because of the mold stains no matter what method you use.

∙ 15y agoYes, you need a good wood cleaner such as Olympic Deck Cleaner that has cleaners and chlorine combined. Spray it on, wait ten seconds wash it off. Mildew gone.
