If your rabbit has fur mites, you should bring her to a vet with experience and knowledge about rabbits (not all vets do, and some of the parasite treatments for dogs and cats are not as effective for rabbits and in some cases toxic, so make sure you a find a vet who knows what she's doing). Fur mites is not something you can treat at home. The vet also needs to make sure the rabbit does indeed have fur mites, and not something else (like ringworm), because different problems require different treatments. there are three different types of mites, ear mites, fur mites and mange mites. If your rabbit has ear mites you will see brown/black scabs inside their ear. To check if your rabbit has fur mites blow on their fur and if there are little black/brown scabs in their fur then they might have mites. If the dots are white it is probably just dandruff. If your rabbit has mange mites you will see scabs on your rabbits body and your rabbit will be scratching alot, loss of some of their fur in patches, and wounds usually first on their lips and nose.

take it to the vet and get them to check the rabbit, if they definitely have mites they will give you some treatment for it. best thing to do is to brush your rabbits fur every so often with a special rabbit grooming brush and clean out its hutch and run thoroughly and do it twice - three times a week. the mites should clear up in no time and the rabbit will be fine again jsut keep up the routine, also make sure you disinfect all the surfaces with a weak solution and properly clean the feed bowls and water containers after every use so the bunny can stay tick free. if you have other rabbits make sure you keep them away from the infected rabbit until the mites have gone to prevent spreading. - my rabbit has caught mites from i think one of the cats that patrols the neighbourhood

My rabbit had fur mites. I noticed that she had several bald spots on her back and that her skin/the roots of her hair had what looked like dandruff. (Fur mites are called walking dandruff.) I took her to the vet and it was confirmed that she had fur mites and the vet removed a good portion of her fur. She was treated with three shots, a spray, and several baths.

Ear mites are obvious because the ears will look horrible. Google ear mites and you will see several examples of what it looks like.

Do not use any products made for cats/dogs unless a vet with experience and knowledge in treating rabbits recommends it -- many things that are safe for cats/dogs are toxic for rabbits. Soak the rabbit in Diet Coke, then let dry. That will take care of the problem 99% of the time.
