Wash ur hair then dry it a little after that get a spary bottle or water bottle poke holes into the top and pour vinigear in to the bottle then you get ur hair and sprinkle the vingear then you cover your hair with a towel so the dandruff dies. Dont wash ur hair ntil the next day. Do this once a week

Your cat may need essential fatty acids added to his/her diet.

My 5 yr old neutered female cat developed dandruff around the base of her tail. The vet was not overly concerned, as she was otherwise in good health, had up to date vaccinations, and was flea-free (thanks to Advantage).

Then, when summer arrived, the dandruff spread to her entire back. She is a fussy eater, and refuses to eat any type of wet food. She eats good dry foods such as Evo, Innova, and Go! Naturals. But it seems even a premium, high-end dry food diet alone cannot supply enough EFA's. The local pet shop recommended Wild Salmon Oil. Of course, she won't touch it. But I started applying a 1/2 teaspoon to one of her paws daily, and the dandruff completely disappeared within one week.

So try adding fish oil to your cat's diet. Either mix it into the food, or apply it to a paw. The brand I use is VRG Naturals Wild Arctic Salmon Oil, 8.5 ounces, approximately $10.00. This should last you at least 6 months. Refridgerate after opening.
