To get the speed reading skill in AQWorlds, you need to complete the 'Bridge of Hope' quest in Battleon. This quest is available from Valencia in the museum. Once you complete the quest, you will unlock the ability to use speed reading in-game.
At the tower of necromancy, accept the quest and click on the book to the far right. Next, go go outside then step back in. Then you click on all of the books.
Then your quest will be complete.
