First check to see if the dealer (or prior owner) may have written it down somewhere in your owner's manual. If not, I'm told that on the newer model years, that when the word "CODE" is displayed in the tuner window, press buttons 1 and 6 simultaneously. The number that is displayed is the radio serial number. Either call Honda's customer service 800 number, or go to your local Honda dealer - give them the serial number and they should be able to supply you with the unlock code. If that doesn't work you will have to retrieve the radio serial number off the tag that is either on the back or the bottom of the radio case. You will have to slide the radio out of the dash to get to them.
Look in the glove box and it should be located on the side on a white label. If not you can go to the Honda Owners Link and get it once you sign up.
The code varies from car to car. You will need to contact the local Honda dealership to see if they can provide you the code to reset the Pilot's radio.
You don't program it, you simply insert the code with the radio presets.
I needed the code for my radio about a month ago, I called my Honda dealer with my VIN and they gave me the code for the radio.

Each radio in each vehicle has a distinctive code that only works with that radio. Contact the dealer that sold this Honda and see if they have a record of the code. Look around in the car for the 5 digit code written down somewhere. If you cannot find it go to the Honda Owners website and sign up. After you sign up you can get the code for free. Click the link.
