If your iPod touch is locked by a 4-digit passcode, the only way to get past it is to force the unit into restore mode by doing the following:
1. Start iTunes and Plug the iPod touch in to your computer via the sync cable. This could be firewire and/or USB.
2. Hold the sleep/wake button(the button at the top) and the menu button(round button at the bottom) down at the same time. Keep them both pressed until you see the 'restore' screen (an iPod cable and an iTunes disc symbol) on the iPod touch. If the ipod turns off or shows the "Slide to power down", just wait and try again. It takes about 10 seconds. Once the restore screen shows, Release the buttons.
3. Windows should quickly "install driver software" for a few seconds. iTunes should now display the iPod touch, along with a message that the iPod touch is in recovery mode. Click the RESTORE button in iTunes to restore the iPod touch.
Please note that doing this will erase the contents of the iPod touch -- that's how the system is designed to work: a passcode lock is meant to protect the data on the iPod.

You Can't But What You Can Do Is Go To Apple And Tell Them That Your iPod Is Locked And I Forgot The Password Or Something Like That
No... you have to have the password or code to sign on to the wifi that is locked ...
contact apple
What do you do if you locked your ipod nanao screen and then forgot your password???
Wi-Fi is completely secure for your iPod Touch. It would be best if you have a locked router that needs a password, but it is completely safe.
The iPod Touch has internet as long as you are in an area with wifi. The internet app is called safari which comes preloaded on the ipod. First, be near a wireless router (and if it's locked, get a password for it). Go to settings, and then to Wi-Fi. It will search for the router, and tap the router you want to access (and enter password if locked).
The most you can do to lock the iPod Touch is by entering a 4-digit pin. You can do this through the Settings of your iPod.
The only way to get through your iPod Touch password without restoring is entering the password.
Restore it xp!
Theres pins on the shiny metallic cover on the back of the ipod touch, remove the pins and then remove the cover. You have successfully got into your ipod touch.
There is no password for the ipod touch internet. There is a password for the internets on the ipod touches the internets that require a password are 2WIRE212, Craig, and LittleOak.
you plug your Ipod into your computer and you then go into Itunes. after that click restore which restores all settings. the pass code will be unlocked and you can get into your Ipod
