How do you get to the spark plugs to change them in a 1999 Pontiac Firebird?

I have the v6 and it is difficult to do. You have to get 3 of the plugs from underneath the car and you will also need extensions and a swivel-joint . Good luck, it's a tough job! If I wasn't so cheap I'd send it to the shop. LOL.


You can rock the engine forward by unhooking the straps and pulling the engine forward with a rope or cable, or by putting a board on top of a floor jack and lifting the oil pan a little bit. Do either of these and Bob's your uncle!
