Does urine be gone work?

I've used this product a few times and it seems to work for me. I have found that it works better when the urine stain is wet, opposed to when the urine is dried and has been in the carpet for over a day. It will remove the smell of dry stains, but not the stain itself.

How do you clean pet stain on jute rug?

If the rug is natural jute then it is a plant fiber and is organic. Organic cleaners should be avoided (such as those marketed for removing pet stains and odors.) Water is also to be avoided as much as possible, as it can cause discoloration and shrinkage. First, check with the rug manufacturer to see what cleaning methods they recommend and see if your rug is completely natural. Some will tolerate use of standard carpet cleaning solutions. Usually, dry cleaning is the preferred method for natural fiber rugs. If you choose to try any of the methods below, be sure to spot-test in an inconspicuous area first.First, remove any solid portion of the stain, then blot up as much of the liquid portion of the stain as you can.Try applying dry cleaning powder to the stain, allow to stand to absorb as much of the stain as possible. Follow the manufacturers recommendation for removal or vacuuming to remove the powder. Repeat if needed.Apply baking soda to the stain and allow to set to absorb as much of the stain and odor as possible. Vacuum to remove and repeat. If the dry methods above do not work, try one of the wet methods below. It is important to know that if a natural fiber jute rug get a water mark, it is almost impossible to remove. Wet methods should be used sparingly and applied by blotting, careful not to saturate. A hair dryer should be used to blow them dry to prevent water marks setting. Also, use a white rag or non-dyed cloth to apply the stain remover.Baking soda and water.White vinegar

How To Care For Wool Rugs?

Sheepskin rugs are a delight to own and can give you years of soft, cozy, comfort, as long as you take good care of them. Knowing how to clean and maintain rug sheepskin will help you keep it lustrous and plush for a long time to come. One of the biggest sources of damage and wear to rug sheepskin is water, which makes washing rug sheepskin and interesting challenge. The first line of defense against a dirty sheepskin rug is a simple wire brush. Don't even use water to clean rug sheepskin without having tried cleaning it dry first by scrubbing it with a wire brush and then shaking it out. Often that's all it takes to get most dirt out, get the wool combed and pulled, and have your rug sheepskin looking clean again. That and a good vacuuming (but use an attachment, not a piece with a roller bar that can catch hairs). If the wire brush and vacuuming aren't enough, then try spot cleaning the parts that need it. Simply tossing rug sheepskin into a washing machine will wear it down quickly, and even if after the first few washings it looks better, it will soon start wither and lose its softness and shine. Washing by hand in a bathtub of cold water is much better for the life and vitality of rug sheepskin. As for soap, only use mild, non-alkaline detergent or wool-safe soap. Do not use bleach or regular laundry detergent if you don't want to counteract the hide's tanning process. Don't use any soaps with biological enzymes in them either, as that can damage the hide too. Lay rug sheepskin out to dry and stretch it, or hand it on the clothesline to dry. Just don't throw it into the dryer. Even on the lowest, tumble setting, a dryer can easily damage rug sheepskin. While the rug sheepskin is drying would be a good time to fluff it up some with a wire brush. Of course, alternatively, you could save yourself all of this trouble by just finding a good dry cleaner nearby and take your rug sheepskin in to be cleaned there. However you decide to clean and maintain it, you could keep your rug sheepskin looking as fresh and soft as the day you brought it home with just a little regular attention.

How do you get permanent marker out of rug?

Rubbing Alcohol will remove permanent marker from your rug. The best time to work on the stain is as soon as possible. A dry stain may not be removable. You should get some clean white cloths, dampen one of the cloths with rubbing alcohol and dab the stain with the cloth. Change the cloth frequently to a clean section of the cloth or to a new cloth so as to not spread the stain. As you dab the stain you will be diluting it and transferring it to the cloth.
