Hi :) This is the third time this has happened to me i.e. getting vaseline on my couch and other upholstery. This is all thanks to my 3yr old little girl...2 yrs old the first time this happened. Anyway to answer your question. First I would just gently wipe off all excess vaseline. Then take dry laundry detergent and spread it all over the vaseline stain, using a dry cloth rub (using a lot of elbow grease) the detergent into the fabric (really rub it in properly) and then wipe off with a wet cloth...all done! I recently heard (but haven't tried it myself) that you can do the same with cornstarch... so try them both although I can only speak on my experience. I wish you all the luck and happiness with your vaseline stained fabric. Karen (NJ)
Nothing. Wipe it off.
by cleaning the specs
A smear of Vaseline keeps ants off the holders to my hummingbird feeders until the Vaseline gets dirty (months). They can't walk over it. Borax powder is a deterrent.
Get it off quickly and don't do it again, use moisturisers instead because vaseline can blur and blotch your tattoo if it is applied early after you got your tattoo
wash it with dishsoap and warm water dry it with a cloth.
Wash your pet with any shampoo recommended by a vet or rub it in Vaseline. The Vaseline suffocates ticks and kill them. :) Hope it worked. Sorry if it didn't. ♥
Vaseline is a mixture.
No Vaseline was created in 1991.
you can use either peanut butter or vaseline to help it slip off, or use another piece of gum to stick to it and pull off.
Will rubbing alcohol kill lice on furniture
Latex dissolves in Vaseline.
