Well you can use various sparays that smell

Like lemon or citrus. Cats do not like he smell of citrus so they stay away from curtains or items that hey normally like to spray or 'mark' on that smell like that. Hope that helped! :)

OK. i have a cat with the same problem many of my friends think its because my cat is not spade/neutered so if it is not spade or neutered get it done. It could also be that you are cleaning the litter pan too much... i hope i helped..

I also have a cat like that. It could be because of food Allergies, or if you have another cat, it could be an issue about dominance. (My cat is both. It's a hassle but we love her.)

This may sound weird, but take the feces (poop) and put it in the litter box.

make sure that it has easy axcess to litter boxes or to the out side, never hit the cat but you could try spraying with a water bottle when they go in the area they poop on the floor
