Though this question seems sinister I will assume there is an academic empirical exercising here. Easiest to recover from would be to go to the bios setup and change the boot priority, disable the primary hard drive and cdrom (leave the floppy for your own salvation!) or change the video settings. Normal boot will not occur. Also video settings can be altered to make an ugly display if you want to do a partial faux fault. Be nice to each other and respect the computer's reputation as well~ Steve
