I figured out an easy/hard way to make the iphone actually vibrate on incoming texts and sound on incoming calls. First, you will need to download any free ringtone maker and also a free music downloader. Then, you will need to go on the music downloader and use its browser to search on Google. In google search silent mp3 ringtone 2 sec and click on the third url from the top. Then, download the silent, 5 second, ringtone and connect your iphone to the computer. Next, you have to drag and drop from the apps section on your phone, on iTunes into your music from the music downloader app. After that, you can now use the ringtone maker app to make the mp3 into a ringtone. Next, follow the steps from the app to make it into a ringtone and set vibrate on and the silent ringtone on and you will then be able to have only vibrate on texts, and ring on calls, without having to toggle the switch on the left side of the phone.
On the left-hand side of the iPhone there is a hardware switch just above the volume control. Use this to switch between normal and silent (vibrate) mode.
To get iPhone off vibrate, go into the menu settings. Go into sounds. You can turn the Vibration on and off.
go into settings, then sounds then put on vibrate i think (:
the easiest way, is to use the side button and put your phone on silent. Apart from this you need to go through the settings menu to tones and set it from there.
Go to the Settings App, then click Sounds, there should be a Vibrate section and you can slide it on and off whenever you feel like it.
Go to settings, sounds, and then turn it on vibrate.

The iPhone OS 5 has many new and improved features for individuals to enjoy. The phone features improved private web browsing, an improved camera, and custom keyboard shortcuts. This iPhone also allows an individual to customize the vibrate settings. Some of these settings are a rapid vibrate and a heartbeat vibrate. Additionally, the phone has more applications.
First go to your Settings. Open the Sound tab. At the "Ringer and Alerts" section turn the volume up. If you want to vibrate and ring then turn on the "Vibrate on Ring". If you don't, then don't turn it on.
Go onto the app store and install vibrate massage.
