If you get a bunny tell me how you got one. I have asked around 24/7 and still no bunny.
Also do something good for a month to all adults and once they see it they will get you whatever you want. That's what I did and I got one! :)
trust me I've always wanted a horse! i never got one but my friend did. all she did was concentrate on her school work and help around a lot! you can also not ask for to many things from your parents and treat them well!
Having a horse is a HUGE resposibility and costs a hell of a lot of money. You need to be sensible and ask yourself will you be able to manage a horse? Remember a horse isn't a thing, it's a living creature and needs love and care and a large home, and lots of time. You also need to have a livery stable nearby to board your horse and time to go to look after the horse every day and nearly all day at the weekends. Maybe you should try asking to loan a horse in the holidays for a couple of weeks to show them that you're up for it.
Considering you have room for such a large animal, and extra money to afford it's care.
You should start working or volunteering at a stable where you can learn what it takes to care for a horse. Do thatfor a while and they will at least know that you are committed to having one and willing to do the work it takes to maintain one.
It seems the biggest consideration of the purchase of a horse/pony is the financial situation of the family. First discuss finances with your mother. If at all possible, most mom's would love to see their child with a pony.
Then you need to show your mother that you can accept the responsiblity of horse/pony ownership. I doubt very much that your mom will want to buy you a pony and then end up doing all the work herself. So show her that you are mature enough to have this huge responsiblity, and it is huge. Horses, although big, need special and time-consuming care. Research all that goes into owning a horse before buying one. But if you and your mom decide that you can do this, it will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your lives.
If you are still in school, showing a good report card to your parents doesn't hurt. Also, if you want to show whomever you wish to get this puppy from your devotion and responsibility, it might be a good idea to volunteer at an animals shelter for a few hours a week. Its also great experience if you are a first time puppy owner.
Although that all sounds good in theory, you also need to consider whether you have enough space and time for a horse, and how much you know about looking after them.
I am very experianced at this! First things first, you have to tell your mum that you are willing and dedicated into mucking out and getting up at 4 in the morning to feed your horse and ofcourse you have to sacrafice time and space with your friends and you have to be commited.
Next you have to show how commited you really are by helping out at your local riding school. You can also look after somebody elses for a while. But if you want you could loan or share! This is much cheaper.
Good luck with the begging :) xxx
I am in the exact same position and im dying for a pony!! I have been trying soooo hard , but im still working my way to the top. My parents havn't said yes yet , but i know that in the inside they really want it to happen for me, but they just aren't sure yet. I have tryed a few simple things :
1. If you know anyone who owns a horse/pony ask them the rough expensizes , and if it works out pretty cheap , like it did for me, then show it to your parents.
2. Go on horse websites and show all the gorg , but cheap horses..
3. Show how dedicated you are by saving every penny.
4. Make sure you can ride, tack up , groom etc. If your parents wern't born in to a horsey family they wont have a clue to do that stuff , and you never know what to expect with a horse.
I hope i may have helped but be sure that this may not work , as it hasn't worked for me yet. But its worth a try :) Deirdre xox
if you can convince your parents the best you can
just keep asking them until they say yes
Convince them that it is for a learning experience!
i complety understand you! it depends what type of pet. if its a dog then first decide if your in enough and if its possible to get one. if it is then start begging! and show your parents how responsible you are. you could offer to take a neighbours dog out for a walk then do it a lot and say something lke "i wish I had a dog" ALOT! if your after a smaller pet then just beg & blieve me you`ll get round them!
Hi there this generally stands for Part Bred Arab so the horse you are buying somewhere along its genetic line has arab breeding. hope this helps lollypops :)
Anything from buying it at a market for a few hundred pounds to a 7 grand horse from a private owner. Like most other horses, it depends where you are buying it from, how old it is, it's experience, manageability etc.
Yes a ten year old can have a horse provided they know how to care for the horse and the parent or parents are willing to pay for the expense of owning a horse. Before owning your own horse you should be able to feed, groom, tack up, ride reasonably well, preform first aid and recognize signs of illness and injury in a horse. If you do not have any experience in any of those things it would be best to take lessons and possibly lease a horse before owning one.
Easy Just say that everyone else has like ace phones
I know how hard it is to convince your parents that your old enough for such a responsibility. I'm 11 and had to convince my parents I could handle it too. The first thing to do is take riding lessons if you already don't. After a few months of riding lessons ask your parents about leasing a horse on quarter, half, or full lease. This will show your parents you're ready for a full time responsibility of owning a horse. You should also try to act mature at home too. Try sitting your parents down and calming explaining to them about why you think you're responsible enough for this. If they say no the first time don't scream at them. This makes no one happy. Try sorting out another soloution with them instead of going straight to buying a horse. I rode for 4 years in lessons since I was six, leased a horse for 8 months on a half then full lease, then finNALLY got my first horse last YEAR AFTER SIX YEARS of riding. Hope you get your dream pony eventually!
beg and cry
tell them all the advantages e.g. exercise, fun for everyone. and you're buying it, so who cares???
You cant convince your parent's because they have a good IQ your parents not be tricked by anyone.
Ask your parents can i buy a psp like20 times. İf they say No then you can say i'll Never buy a toy untill Aprill 5 or 1.İf they No again prank them
When buying a horse, OVNO stands for On Very Nearest Offer
A novice when buying a horse is someone who has little knowledge of horses and has never purchased a horse in the past.
Show them how it will benefit and be useful to them.
The best way to talk to your parents is honestly and openly. If you tell them your in love and be honest they will likely respect you choice.
Honestly, you can't convince them. Either they will let you or they won't.
The best way to convince your parents to get you a music computer is to first explain to them what it is and what it does. Then explain to them how if fits into your goals and your interests.
