I have to wonder if you would give up your child if you had given birth to him. Anyone can give up their parental rights and if so the teen will end up in foster care until he is 18 and then he's on his own. You just contact the agency again. i do urge you to try every other way out though. Adoptive children usually didn't have a easy start in life and if kids usually are harder to deal with during puberty, a adopted child might act up even more. That doesn't mean they don't come out of it one day and become responsible adults. To be there is a parent's job.
750000 teens become pregnant each year in the US and 1% put their babies up for adoption. About 234000 has an abortion and the majority keeps them.
No, but a court may order it if it is in the best interest of the baby.

If you are up for adoption and is a teen the choice is yours. You will then remain in foster care.
1% of all teen pregnancies end in adoption.
Same reason you would if you were a 16 year old mother whos boyfriend left her...

In almost all states the answer is no, a parent cannot force their pregnant teen into adoption. However, the teen is 100% responsible for the child, in all respects including financially. In some states becoming a parent makes the teen a " legal adult" which means the teen's parents no longer have to support her or her child.
No teen mothers are not more successful. They both have an even chance of success.
