How do you groom a beagle?

Well, the simplest of answers would be to brush them. But the best way to make your beagle silky, smooth, and fur free (for the most part), would be to buy a rubber brush. I would prefer the pink rubber KONG one. I bought that for my beagle, and brushed a puppy off of him! I didn't realize how much extra fur they've got. But you also have to wash your dog about every 4 weeks. Dogs don't need to bathe NEAR as often as humans, but beagles DO need to be kept clean. Brushing and bathing will accomplish that.
