Most succulent plants grow easily from cuttings. Just take a piece and place in the soil or in water and it will quickly send out roots.
As for care, succulents don't do well in very cold areas as their leaves contain a lot of water and are damaged if frozen. In general, they like sun and tolerate dryness, heat, and poor soil well.
