Potatoes are generally propagated from tubers(potatoes). Seed potatoes are small or under-ripe tubers with one or more pronounced eyes(buds on the side of the tuber). Any potato with living eyes can be used to grow a potato plant.
One excellent method for propagating potatoes from ripe tubers is to cut the potato in half, making sure that a few well-formed eyes are on each half. Place each half in a shallow bowl with water and set it in a sunny spot until visible roots develop. Once roots are present, transplant into a small mound in sunny location and encourage growth with light liquid fertilizer and regular waterings.
AnswerFor potatoes you need to get a well-prepared patch of ground. You take a seed dibber and put seeds into the patch of the ground. Manure and water would be advised. now be sure to weed so it doesn't kill your potatoes. Potatoes should be ready in 3-5 months. In order to grow a potato you have to have an eye. But the eye has to be cut out with the potato. Then you let the eye and potato sit for up to a day. Then you can plant it and water it and there you have a potato plant and potatoes!!!
Choose a pot which will more than comfortably hold the root system.
Choose the correct potting soil for the plant type.
Put two or three inches (or more depending on pot size) of soil in the pot and mound to a volcano shape.
Carefully spread the roots evenly over the volcano and sprinkle more soil over them.
Tap the side of the pot a few times to settle the soil in amongst the roots and add more soil until the soil level reaches the same level on the plant as the hydroponic medium was.
Tap a few more times and top up the soil if needed.
Water with a seaweed solution both over the leaves of the plant and on the soil to help reduce transplant shock.
Top up the soil again if needed.
Keep in a bright , sheltered spot and water as much as is needed to keep the soil damp to the touch.
Move to an appropriate light level after a couple of weeks settling in period.
From then on feed as required with an appropriate fertilizer.
if you have another strawberry plant, wait until it puts our 'runners' these runners will grow air roots which can then be planted in the ground next to the parent plant or a plant pot. Peg the roots to the ground. When the roots of the new baby plant have establised, cut off from main plant. Transplant to you chosen position. Strawberry plants do not grow true from seed
.... okay i highly doubt that's what you wanted as an answer.. but when you buy your weed and you get the seeds that are in your bud keep them. Then buy normal soil and keep it in a closet or something(some where you can hide it) I recomend outting it under a red light but hey that's just me. To keep the weed good, keep it warm (obviously not too warm to where you can smell it every where but you do want to be able to smell the stank when your near your plant). So yeah! theres my tips.
P.S. water it once every other day.
Buy a potato that hasn't been in the fridge or was chilled at the gorcery store. Now, get a large container about ten times bigger than the potato, and fill it with nice soil. Put the potato in the container and treat it like a seed. Keep it in lots of sunlight. Water it every day and soon you might find potatoes growing in your container!
The tuber develops underground as part of the root system. you put it in the ground wait for a couple of days then eat em it int tht hard! :D
Well you need soil in the pot and you need water so it can grow plants need a lot of sunshine but not a lot of sunshine...
It can. But it's lousy soil to grow the next plant in. A plant pot is a very small, contained environment and the previous plant resident took the nutrients out of the soil that made the soil a rich, fertile growing medium. That's why in some ideal world you repot your container plants every year (somewhat longer if it's like a 22" diameter pot). If you compost, you can toss used potted plant soil in your composter and next year take out the richest soil anywhere.
Soil is used to create a habitat for plants and animals. Although soil looks still and lifeless that is far from the truth. == Soil is used to pot plants, create bases for yards, grow crops, create sod, provide grazing land for domesticated animals, provide contouring in landscaping, create dams, build roadbeds, and as layering material at landfills.
A cactus prefers a shallow pot so that is wider at the top. They are shallow rooted plants so the pot should not be deep.
30-1/2 inches of soil in a 6 inch pot.
This depends on the species of plant. Some plants require different nutrients than others. Your best bet would be to plant in regular soil, and then after some research you can till the soil with the required nutrients.
a plant would most likely grow better in a pot as long as you use soil bought from a store. in the ground, the potential of harmful bacteria and disease affecting the plant is greater than if you have it in a pot. as long as you give the plant enough sunlight and all the nutrients it needs, your plant will be better off growing in a pot.

To grow succulents in plants you will want to put about an inch gravel in the bottom of the pot. Add your soil up to about 3/4 of the way full. Hold the plant so the crown is level with the top of the pot. Fill soil in around the plant so it can stand on its own.
They need to be started in a wet napkin. When they start growing leaves/stems then plant in a pot with soil.

You can get soil by using a plant pot on a Farming patch.

new plant grows from a root by digging it near the base of a mother plant and transfer it to a new pot of soil and make sure that it is moistened by water to make a plant grow.
Well I'm not Martha Stewart, but my guess would have to be in soil where it has access to sunlight to grow, and in a garden, flower bed, or a pot.
In a healthy soil garden or even a plant pot. Should be in a place with reasonable and slightly warm temperatures during spring or summer.
you tip the bag in to the plant pot
