smash the pumpkins on the road or cement,pick up the seeds,find rich soil in your backyard if you don't have a backyard try to find soil,dig,plant the seeds but spread them apart and only plant 5-6 seeds in one hole then water it for as long as it's growing and then in a couple months you'll enjoy fresh pumpkins.
The best way to prolong the life of your pumpkin is by putting it in cold water for an hr or so. Then you have to take it out and set it on a flat surface upside so the bottom doesn't soak up the water.
The same as any other fruit or vegetable. My top tip is buy the pumpkin the day befor you calve it.
