Answer
A reader will sit at a table in a straight back chair. Then following the instructions below for best reading pleasure.
The newspaper is held in an upright position, approximatley 13.5 - 18 inches away from the readers face. Tilt the top of the paper to an angle of 7.5 degrees from the perpendicular away from the readers head. This allows for decreased glare from adequate lighting. The readers elbows should not be touching any surface.
For the advanced reader, you may adopt the 'one arm down' posture. This is acheived by turning the body away from the table no more than 60 degrees either left or right, dropping either elbow until it comes in contact with the table. This is only for advanced readers as the newspaper print will be at an angle and therefore harder to read.
