You can remove it on your bookmarks later.
Yes you can transfer your bookmarks from Mozilla to Chrome. There is an option of import bookmarks for that purpose.
Google is a website so it does not use bookmarks. However we can put bookmarks in Google Chrome.
First you must export the Google Chrome bookmarks as HTML. To do this you will need to go to Bookmarks -->Bookmark Manager-->Organize-->Export Bookmarks. Second, go to the organize bookmarks screen in Firefox and import the html.

Bookmarks in Google Chrome do not disappear without any issue. You could have deleted them or used a different profile.
Bookmarks in Google Chrome browser are located just under the URL bar. You can see the website icon and it's title.
