Import contacts from your Blackberry to the iPhone
***Without Outlook***
NOTE: I used this method without any contacts in my "Windows Contacts" folder, if you have contacts already there please keep that in mind as you follow these steps.
If you don't have outlook like me, I found a way to get the contacts off my BB Curve 8330, and into my windows contacts
Im running Windows Vista and haven't tested to see if this will work for XP users
It took me a few days to finally get it to work, ill warn all of you, there is more then one version of blackberry desktop manager u can use, and the first one i downloaded wouln't sync with my BB.
The BB Desktop Manager version that worked for me is v5.01 and was 258MB
1) Load up Blackberry Desktop Manager
2) Click "Synchronize"
3) Click Synchronization under the "Configuration" tab at the top left of the screen.
4) Click the "Synchronization" button
5) Click on "Address Book". (and if you need to, click on setup)
6)Click on Windows Address Book/Mail then click next
7)Select "One way sync from device" With the arrow pointing at Windows Address Book/mail click next
8) It should say "Congratulations!" and have a "Finish" Button
9) Now click on Synchronize tab at the top left of the screen
10) click on Synchronize and it should say "Processing"
A window will pop up saying "Confirm Address Book Edits" click on accept
11) Open iTunes
12) Go to your iPhone's setup page in iTunes (Select iPhone at the side menu)
13) Click on the "Info" tab
14) Under "Contacts", check the "Sync contacts with" checkbox, and select "Windows Address Book". "All contacts"
15) Click "Apply" at the bottom of the page. It should save your changes, and automatically sync your contacts.
If you don't want you iPhone to always be synced with your Windows contacts which may be the case with most people
Uncheck the Sync check box and select apply
And you should have all your contacts on your iPhone
This page explains How to Sync iPhone to Outlook http://www.sync-iphone.com/contacts-calendars-email/sync-iphone-contacts-to-computer.html
"Yes, Outlook email is currently available on the iPhone. The iPhone can sync Contacts and Calendars events from Outlook, and it can also receive emails as they come in."
Ok, this is how I did it with my Blackberry Pearl, or Bold and any iPhone, on Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8. Preliminary steps: Have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed. Also, connect your Blackberry and iPhone to your computer (you don't need to connect both at the same time... but I did any way) . Make sure you read about the whole process of transferring BlackBerry contacts to iPhone here: http://www.copytrans.net/support/transfer-blackberry-contacts-to-iphone/ 1) Load up Blackberry Desktop Manager 2) Go to "Organizer" and check "Contacts -> Windows Contacts". Make sure all other boxes are unchecked 3) Under "Sync direction" choose "One way to your computer only" and click OK 4) To start the transfer of BlackBerry contacts, click on "Sync Organizer" 5) Your BlackBerry contacts are now backed up in the form of Windows Contacts on your PC 6) Now it's time to transfer the contacts to the iPhone. Download CopyTrans Contacts - a tiny computer application which allows import of contacts from PC to iPhone 7) Run CopyTrans Contacts and connect the iPhone 8) Click on "Import contacts" 9) Browse to the folder where the BlackBerry contacts are saved, select them and click on "Open" 10) That's it! All BlackBerry contacts are now on the iPhone.
sim card
no you cant because an i phone has no bluetooth so you would be better to go to your blackberry and get all your contacts and go through them and put them in
Just go to your phone store and they should do it for free !!
Use google sync. its the easy way out. source :- http://www.everythingicafe.com/transfer-contacts-calendars-blackberry-iphone/2012/05/01/
iPhone syncs with the address book you already use on your computer - Address Book or Entourage on a Mac, or Outlook or Outlook Express on a PC. If you keep your contacts on the web using Yahoo! Address Book or Google Contacts, iPhone syncs with them, too.
From your blackberry ,copy all your contacts to your sim card. Then remove the sim from your bnlackberry and put it inside the iphone. On your iphone do the import sim contacts. To give you the step by step provess on how to do the sim importing go to the link http://nice-to-know-about-iphone.blogspot.com and search for the topic "how to import sim contacts" hope it will help
Exporting contacts 1. go to palm desktop on your PC 2. export your contacts from there to Microsoft outlook or windows contacts. 3. go onto itunes, click on your iPhone, select the contacts tab. 4. import contacts from Microsoft outlook or windows contacts. This may not work as i have a very old version of palm desktop. THIS EXPLANATION ONLY WORKS IF YOU HAVE PALM DESKTOP.
If you have Microsoft Outlook, then backup all your contacts to that. The iPhone will synch those contacts easily, and painlessly. Otherwise you will need to save the contacts to your PC via going to the store and having them save the contacts onto a USB drive in a pbb file. Then extract this with the application Content Manager. Hi don`t be like me and look for problems that don't exist. You can easily import your simcard contacts to your new Iphone by simply going into `settings`.. `mail, contacts, calendars`, scroll down to ``import SIM contacts``. so easy
The iPhone and BlackBerry are both smartphones. The iPhone is produced by Apple, and the BlackBerry is produced by RIM (Research in Motion).
