I assume you have the 4 cylinder model, if you have the 3 cylinder stop where you are and do not modifly it, those are not built to be modded. You can start with new spark plugs and wires (high performance models), then you can do an air intake modification (if legal where you live). A new distributor usually upgrades power too. If you have some money you could rebuild the engine which greatly increases power.
