Jack up car and support with stands. Remove wheel. Remove 2 bolts (probably 17mm) at the top and bottom of the caliper. Lift caliper off and hang it from the spring with a heavy wire or coat hanger to prevent damage to the hose. Remove rotor. The rotor usually rusts onto the face of the hub, so it may have to be rapped a few times with a hard mallet (NOT a hammer) to break it loose. Remove outer pad. If car has ABS, loosen bleeder valve first, then compress piston. If no ABS, just compress piston. Install new pads and rotor. Reinstall caliper, ensuring that the bolts are tight. Reinstall wheel. Remove stands. Lower car and do final tightening of wheel lug nuts. Have a beer. :)
