To replace the water pump, you'll have to remove the timing belt(s). I would suggest that you replace the timing belt, timing belt tensioners, all front seals, and the valve cover gasket as well. This task calls for auto repair knowledge and experience and should not be attempted, at all cost. if you do not have the required expertise. These are high-interference engines and damage to valves and engine head may occur. Better to spend $200 to $400 to have it done professionally than spend thousands to replace the motor.
