first remove the wiper arms then take off the cowl grille (long hunk of tin) and all your linkage is right there

A lot of elbow grease is required too, they just pop on and off, but they are really tight and there's not much room to get the leverage you need. A long screwdriver for prying can be helpful with popping the linkages off and on.
