Never pull the infant's foreskin back. This can cause serious injury and tissue damage. Boys' foreskins will naturally retract on their own, which may be as late as the teenage years.

The skin actually protects from dirt and bacteria. However, if the penis gets red or white stuff develops inside the foreskin, use a little bit of palmers coco butter.

When you're in the bath or shower, just pull back your foreskin to expose the penis head. Wash it with soap and warm water, then rinse it off and slide your foreskin back down. Infants and young boys foreskins can't be pulled back. They gradually become loose over time. When the boy can pull back his own foreskin, then he should be taught how to wash it. Parents should never attempt to force back a tight foreskin to clean it during diaper changes or bathing.

It's simple: When in the shower, just roll back the foreskin, and then use a little bit of soap (some soaps can be irritable, so find one that is gentle) and clean away the head, and especially both sides of the frenulum.

Generally, that is the man's job. Either way, you would skin the foreskin back and then gently wash with a wash cloth and a very mild detergent. Then you make you you get all the soap out. Finally, you would put the foreskin back in its usual position. If it is stuck in the folded back position, then you may need to use some oil and pull hard.

While doing this, you would also want to check for any lesions/growths. Finding anything like that warrants a trip to the doctor. The papilloma (warts) virus is no joke, and it can cause cancer. Other STDs are nothing to play with either.
