Being a woman and wearing high heels, I like taking my shoe and slamming it down on him, crippling him, then taking my heel and putting it on his head and squashing it flat. Works every time. I haven't seen one try and crawl after I have squashed his brains out.
It always starts with just a few but then we suddenly found ourselves with a huge cockroach problem, an outright infestation. We spent tons of money on traps and sprays, which absolutely DO NOT work to get rid of them. These remedies are messy, expensive and only kill a few. They keep coming back. We used powered borax (Mule Team) which was easy to find at the grocery store and super cheap. We have animals so we worried a bit, but we put that borax on every counter, along every floorboard and in every cabinet. It took maybe two weeks to completely eradicate the roaches, but within a few days we were already getting relief. It was like a miracle. We left the borax around for a month just to be sure we got them all, but since borax is a cleaner it was easy to clean up. It's been months and the roaches are still gone. I can't believe it took me less than ten dollars to do what hundreds of dollars on sprays, etc. never did. Incidentally, our animals were never harmed by this treatment.
I'v been using cayanne pepper powder. they use it in hot sause. if its a serious problem youll see a couple cockroaches upside down dead where the powder is. if it stops working they either are all dead or know better.
Place food substance in a container that contains poison and expose it to the cockroaches. Before then, you must have cleared the house of food particles.
no
in toilet bowls
YES, cockroach have three segments.
just like we do. ;D lol.
as long as the spider is bigger than the cockroaches it will eat it
termites, ants, flies, cockroachs and spiders. Well those are the ones usually.
Sometimes Cockroachs arent as scared of you as you think!
Cockroaches dont eat plants, they scavange and eat decomposing material and waste food
I'm pretty sure cockroaches have exoskeletons but I'm not sure. You can always google the answer and see what pops up.
you can't tell because snails have many predaters so if you have a pet snail try to keep it away from bugs, mice, cockroachs, spider, and etc
Roaches love us: we've increased their habitat, and we supply them with extra food. Unlike the animals that we've driven toward extinction, roaches are having a renaissance.
A cockroaches "skin" is actually what's called an exoskeleton... Basically it is a really strong protective covering on the cockroaches because unlike us they don't have bones on the inside of their bodies. Exoskeletons contain chitin and when calcium carbonate is added it grows in strength and hardness.
