Best thing to do is ask, i've known alot of gay guys they're not all the same there are no specific tell tale signs, if your conserned just ask in a reassuring way so that you get an honest answer. After all the truth is what your after, its something people are born with and not everyone accepts it in themselves right away particularly if they have a disapproving family. So as long as you make him feel safe talking to you without judgement he will tell you the truth. If he says he isn't accept it. you get masculine and feminine straight and gay guys.
