If your dog licks a cane toad he/she will deliver major amounts of froth and suliver from the mouth and usually will start twitching his/her face, sometimes even turn its head to either side and freeze looking straight ahead (when my dog did that I thought he had died, that's how frozen they are.) This procedure usually lasts between 1/2 and hour to a full hour depending on how much your pooch has licked or bitten the toad it can even be fatal. I hope I helped :)

A large dog, I would think not. It would just intoxicate them.But if a small dog licked a frog or toad for a long amount of time, they could possibly become poisoned by the frog's defense chemicals.
