I don't think you can lay down in Battlefield 1943. I think you can only kneel.

Anyways, in Battlefield Bad Company 2 you cannot go prone. You can only stand and crouch.

∙ 12y agoHold the "x" key and the player will flop on the ground on appear to be laying down. You can also do this in mid air if you are skilled enough ;)
