By making sure the base is clean (no sharp objects like rocks or other debris.

Give the piping a uniform pitch, try to maintain 1/4" per foor.

Install a clean out if possible every 50 ft or any change of direction greater then a 45 deg

Back fill with clean fil sand is fine just as long as the back filling is free of rocks.
